History
In 1984, Dr. Tei-Fu Chen, an American herbalist from Taiwan, perfected a method to extract the sweetness from stevia
without using chemicals. This method is accepted today as the most advantageous way to produce stevia products for consumption.
Dr. Chen's company, Sunrider, successfully petitioned the FDA (Food & Drug Administration) in 1995 to lift the import alert on the extract of stevia leaves.
Sunrider was one of the first companies to introduce stevia to the market with the product Sunectar®, in 1984, and later a variation known as SunnyDew®.
Combined with our health drinks, Sunnydew® Liquid Stevia Sweetener can help curb cravings for sugary sweet foods and drinks.
This makes it a beneficial source of nutrition for athletes, for those who are working to achieve natural weight loss,
or for anyone concerned about excess sugar intake.
Stevia advantages over Sugar
While the plant has been used by the Guarani Indians to sweeten tea for hundreds of years, it is now used in homes all over the U.S., not just in beverages, but even as a sugar substitute in baking.
1oz. dropper bottle of SunnyDew Liquid Stevia Sweetener can last a long time because it is super concentrated for more value.
Usage:
Internal:1-5 drops with any beverage.
A few drops sweetens an entire quart of
Fortune Delight® or
Calli® Herbal Tea
External: apply to the damaged areas of the skin.
